Cannabis extracts inhibit skin aging processes and positively affect the viability of skin cells

Dermatologists from Poland studied the impact of cannabis extracts on keratinocytes and fibroblasts and found it can be a valuable source of biologically active substances that reduce oxidative stress, inhibit skin aging processes and positively affect the viability of skin cells. The analysis also showed that hydrogels based on cannabis extracts have a positive effect on skin hydration.

The researchers reported that cannabis extract reduces oxidative stress and interferes with the aging process of the skin, thus increasing the viability of skin cells.

Significantly increased anti-aging effect by administration of cannabis extract

This study shows another benefit of cannabis that application of topical cannabinoids is good for skin health as good as healing wounds.

In fact, cannabis is not only good for our external protection layer. Recently, South Korean scientists found THC stop SARS-CoV-2 replication and cytokine storm, which gives a hope that we can end this COVID19 pandemic.

Please forward this news around you, and I wish we could be free from masks in 2021!
