Nature publish a paper suggesting cannabis to treat COVID-19

Scientists from Israel examined the anti-inflammatory activity of cannabis on immune response markers associated with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) inflammation in vitro and found it had a great potential to reduce inflammation.

Scientists identified cannabis compounds that exhibit anti-inflammatory activity in lung epithelial cells, yet substantially induce polarization, phagocytosis and IL expression in macrophages in vitro.

South Korean scientists also suggested cannabis could stop COVID19 pandemic. They found THC bind to the main protease of SARS-CoV-2 virus and disabling it to replicate. Cannabis also stopped cytokine storm.
